2. Data we may collect
- Contact details, including name, email address, telephone number and business details.
- Enquiry, quotation, order, delivery, returns and customer-service information.
- Payment and transaction records supplied by a payment provider; we do not intend to store full card details.
- Product-safety, complaint and recall information where relevant.
- Technical security data generated by the hosting service, such as IP address, device and access logs.
The quotation form on this site is processed in your browser and opens WhatsApp. The website itself does not submit or store the form contents.
3. Why we use it and our legal bases
- Enquiries and quotations: steps requested before entering a contract and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
- Orders, delivery and after-sales support: performance of a contract.
- Invoices, tax and regulatory records: compliance with legal obligations.
- Fraud prevention, security and legal claims: legitimate interests and, where applicable, legal obligations.
- Safety notices or recalls: legal obligations and protection of customers.
- Electronic marketing: consent, unless a limited existing-customer exception lawfully applies. You may opt out at any time.
4. Who receives data
We may share only what is necessary with hosting and IT providers, payment providers, couriers, professional advisers, insurers, regulators, and selected suppliers involved in fulfilling a request. When you choose WhatsApp or WeChat, that provider processes information under its own privacy terms.
If information must be sent outside the European Economic Area, we will use an applicable lawful transfer mechanism and limit the information shared.
5. How long we keep it
- Unsuccessful or inactive enquiries: normally up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact.
- Orders, invoices and records needed for tax or legal compliance: normally six years, or longer where a dispute, investigation or legal duty requires it.
- Marketing preferences: until consent is withdrawn, plus a minimal suppression record where needed to respect the opt-out.
- Safety and recall records: for as long as reasonably necessary for product-safety duties and legal claims.
We review retention and securely delete or anonymise data when it is no longer required.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or objection, and may withdraw consent at any time. Contact us using the details above. You may also complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
7. Security and required information
We use proportionate access controls, secure accounts, limited collection and reputable service providers. No internet service is completely risk-free. Where information is required to prepare a quotation, complete an order or meet a legal duty, we may be unable to provide the service without it.
